Green Intermediate Assistant AST
Bio: Alexandra graduated with a degree in Latin America Area Studies in 2008. The main part of her University education was focused on Economic Geography and Politics with a special focus on the effects of regulations, standards and labels on (food) supply chains. During Alexandra's University years, she worked for a restaurant as waitress and wine sommelier developing her first tasting skills. Alexandra developed a broad range of coffee related skills since she started working for GEPA, the biggest European fair trader - first as Assistant Product Manager Coffee and later as Senior Coffee Buyer and Product Manager, being responsible e.g. for the purchasing of green coffee and the corresponding quality control. An enthusiast when it comes to coffee quality issues and sensory evaluations, for the past two years Alexandra has been working as a coffee consultant, trainer and an AST for Green Coffee and Sensory Skills.
I am really looking forward to meeting many crazy coffee people and sharing my knowledge while learning at the same time.
